Suggest Treatment For Lump In Temple After An Accident
Question: Last night my friends pit bull attacked my face and skull no major lacerations but he lunged at me hard. I have a lump on my temple it hurts to open my mouth or chew should I be concerned this happens over 12hours ago
Brief Answer:
Fractures are possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
You should have it checked for sure. As it hurts to open your mouth and there is a lump on the temple, jaw fracture or other skull bones fractures are possible.
If you have not lost your consciousness, most likely there is no brain bleeding or other serious brain injuries. So no reason to be concerned. But still, it would be good to have head CT for possible fractures diagnostic.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
