Hi XXXX,
Thanks for your query on Health Care Magic forum.
I have read your query carefully.
From your description, it seems to be related to nerve . .. But I can not think of it further, as your description is very vague.
Please inform about it's site,/ it's size & shape( provide a photograph if possible )/ how did it start/ what are the symptoms caused apart being burning in between.
Knowing all these things & any other relevant information you remember.. I would be in a position to provide you proper information that will help you.

I have attached a photo and have just come off. My period and the burning started after sex it's hard to. Explain what it looks like which is why I had attached a picture.
Brief Answer:
proper evaluation & specific care will relieve.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the Photo & other information.
The photo reveals swelling of vaginal lips, labia minora( inner skin fold of vagina ) & part of labia majora ( outer skin fold ) on left lower side. It also shows small bumps at the vaginal margin & few white patches over the lesion.
* Please don't worry it's just an inflammatory reaction & can be controlled very well with proper care.
Looking at the scenario, I feel the cause may be either allergic/ exacerbation of previously present trichmonal infection or previously present vaginal infection.... as it has started after sex & and was associated with onset of bleeding & burning also.
- Allergy can be due to lubricants / latex condom used before sex. Chemicals in cosmetics/ contraceptives can also lead to irritation or allergy & the swelling in turn.
- Trichomonal infection along with friction during sexual act can lead to such swelling. This being a sexually transmitted disease need not be present before sex.. even fresh infection with trauma /friction at the sex can cause it., has to be treated for both sex partners.
- Bacterial infection usually associated with white discharge with burning in urination. In such infection sexual act can cause stress & trauma to vaginal area .. & lead to inflammation & swelling/ burning.
* Swelling at left side of vagina can be a part of the infection/ allergy & inflammation OR it may be swelling of a Bartholin gland( small glands on both sides of labia majora .. they work to lubricate vagina ) blockage caused by the debris of the infection/ thick mucus
** With these possibilities I would suggest you to -
1. Home care-
- Stop using any cosmetics that you think have caused the allergic reaction.
- Keep the area clean.. soak in warm water tub , so as to relieve the swelling.
- Apply Betamethasone ointment with antibiotic over the counter .
- Avoid sex/ itching .
2. If you find no relief/ there is increase in trouble/ burning is not relieved/ itching or Pain increases / there is fever... You need oral medication.
You should consult a gynecologist, get physically examined. you may be subjected to vaginal swab test to find causative organism.
You will be then offered specific treatment to relieve you from your problem.
3. It becomes important to exclude any type of vaginal infection/ Bartholin cyst formation & get it treated at this point. Some infections demand treatment of both partners.
- Genital/ sex hygiene & care are to be followed to avoid recurrence.
I hope, the answer was both informative & useful to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
