Suggest Treatment For Lump On Back Near Right Shoulder Along With Pain

Question: I have had a small pea-sized lump on my back near my right shoulder for about 4-months with no pain. It was under the skin and hard. I recall getting what felt like a bug bite and some itching the first day it occurred and then assumed this was a bug bite and would go away. There is a very small hole at the opening of the bump. For the first four months there was no pain associated with the bump. Today the bump felt sore, hot and got more red and "pimple-like". Once I squeezed it some large amounts of while rope-like pus came out. Any clue on what this could be and if this is serious. This is on my back near my right shoulder and I've been noticing some recent pain in my right shoulder and arm as well and don't know if they could be related.
Brief Answer:
Sebaceous cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You have developed sebaceous cyst.
Your description matches with that.
It is a collection of dead cells under the skin.
When you press this material comes out as white debris.
Dont worry its not a dangerous condition.
Treatment is mainly surgical.
It can be removed with the wall of the cyst, through a small incision.
It cannot be cured by medicines.
Pain in your shoulder can be associated with this.
Please meet a dermatologist or a surgeon and get it removed.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
