Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Outside Of Throat

Question: I have a lump on the outside of my throat right at the top of the sternum. if I lean my head back the lump can be felt easily with my finger. it is about 2 days old and the size of a lima bean.

As per your history, swelling is asymptomatic.

Hi, thanks for your follow up query.
If it is painful then start on anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 days.
Most probable cause can be thyroid glossal cyst, nodule, goitre. Infected dermis cyst. Or cervical lymphadenitis. I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated. Thanks
