Suggest Treatment For Lumps On Penis Head

default
Posted on Wed, 27 May 2015
Question: I noticed some small lumps on the head of my penis in the last 2 days. It doesn't hurt. One of the things that comes to mind is that, being well endowed, sometimes my penis touches the bottom of the toilet, but there is no pus, so I don't know if it could be an infection or not. Also, I have multiple partners, often, and, we have "safe" sex (condoms, mainly). Lastly, I do wash it at least once a day, usually twice. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Viral Warts or Molluscum contagiosum are possibilities

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query and I understand your concern.

As per details, there are following possibilities for your symptoms :
1 ) Verruca vulgaris- also known as viral warts. These are characterised by skin colored raised lesions with plane or rough surface. These are most of the times multiple in number. Genital warts are usually acquired by Sexual contact. In case of multiple partners, the chances of acquisition increases many folds.

They can be managed by chemical cauterisation using Trichloroacetic acid or potassium hydroxide. Else imiquimod cream can be applied over the warts under vasline cover after proper instructions by the doctor.

2)Molluscum contagiosum : it is also a viral infection caused by Molluscum contagiosum virus. It is a sexually transmitted disease when genital area is involved. It can be managed like warts by chemical cauterisation or needle extirpation.

I will advise you to visit your doctor in person so that he can do clinical examination and give you prescription accordingly. You can share my opinion with him. We are always here to help you.

I hope I am able to solve your query.
Stay healthy.
