Suggest Treatment For Lumps On The Knee And Buttocks
Recurrent boils
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
You have furunculosis (boils due to caused by the the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus infection). Some of the boils are organized producing hard lumps but with pus.Diabetics are usually prone to it.Get your blood sugar fasting and postprandial checked,if not already done. The lesions which have been cleared with antibiotics but bruising remained ,will clear up with local applications of antibiotic ointment preferably betadine or Mupirocin topical anti-infective.
You need to take warm water bath with antiseptic soap twice a day;pair your nails regularly.
Risk factors for furunculosis include bacterial carriage in the nostrils, diabetes melitus, obesity, lymphoproliferative neoplasms, malnutrition, and use of immunosuppressive drugs.
Hopefully you have none of these risk factors.
