Brief Answer: It looks like acase of Generalized lymphadenopathy Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic, I have gone through your history and understand your concern 1.Lymph nodes can be palpable when there is a underlying infection. 2.It will be sore touch. 3.In younger age group the lymph nodes can be palpable, which will be of no significance if its size is less than 1 cms. 4.This seems to look like a case of generalized lymphadenopathy, which can be due to any underlying infections like Cytomegalovirus (CMV),Epstein–Barr virus (EBV),Infectious mononucleosis, HIV and other conditions like lymphoma, leukemia, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and sarcoidosis. 5.I would suggest you to undergo laboratory investigations like Complete Blood Count- To rule out Lymphoma and leukemia Chest X ray- To rule out Sarcoidosis HIV Testing- HIV ELISA Monopsot Test- To rule out Infectious mononucleosis Antinuclear Antibodies - To rule out SLE Antibodies for EBV and CMV These investigations helps to find out the aforementioned causes for your condition (Generalized lymphadenopathy). Hope I have cleared your query, if you have any further query feel free to post them. Thank you.

Thanks for your speedy reply but i must admit i dont fully understand your response. i can not feel them so i guess mine are not palpable and they are not sore to touch. i just a get brief pain in the area of my nodes once or maybe twice a day? is that typical of Generalized lymphadenopathy? or would they be more notably enlargeed and sore to touch? thanks

Brief Answer: It might not be a generalized lymphadenopathy Detailed Answer: Hello, As the lymph nodes are not palpable, it might not be a case of Generalized lymphadenopathy. In Generalized lymphadenopathy there will be enlarged and palpable lymph nodes which may be painless or painful. If there is no constitutional symptoms like fever, loss of appetite, loss of weight and any mass in these areas. It might not be a case of Generalized lymphadenopathy. The symptoms of brief pain in these area once or twice in a day is not much of concern. If you have any of the aforementioned symptoms then you should be evaluated physically by your doctor to confirm the diagnosis. If you have any further query I will be privileged to answer them. Thank you.
