Suggest Treatment For Masses In The Abdomen

default
Posted on Mon, 1 Jun 2015
Question: I have all of these tiny masses in my right abdomen. I can feel maybe 3 or 4 that I know of. They are all very close to the surface and not big. They are soft and malleable. Some of them are in my side like right under my right rib cage. Some are in the front of my abdomen. Some are ball shaped and others feel tubelike and longer. Should I be worried?

Brief Answer:
may be lipomas

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that they are lipomas. These are lumps that are made up of a collection of fat.

They can form in any area of the body and can vary in size and shape.

Lipomas are not cancerous. They are normally only monitored unless they are causing a lot of pain, in which case, they can be removed.

Your doctor can examine you and determine if this is the case.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
