Question: History over past 2 years with symptoms becoming progressively worse. Memory loss, difficulty concentrating, getting lost while driving, using wrong word in sentences, lightheaded, irritable, extreme fatigue, excessive internal body heat and profuse sweating. Within last 2 weeks, burning, tingling and numbness in toes and fingers. Yesterday, woke with terrible burning in left side of face and eventually numbness around the eye. Woke this morning with heaviness in my chest, with slight pain, a little short of breath, sweating, dizzy. Am taking Mirapex, .75 daily, Paxil 20 mg daily, metformin 500 mg 2 x day. Have been on all these for a lengthy time. Also taking Vitamin D 50000 twice a week, vit d level is 18. Also on Vit B complex and iron daily. Levels are OK but absorption rate is low.

Brief Answer:
Provide more details and get examined by a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Memory loss, concentration deficit, irritability can be due to frontotemporal dementia.
This can be due to age related presenile dementia, hypothyroidism, structural lesion of brain, depression.
Symptoms in lower limbs and hot flashes may be related to perimenopausal symptoms. Diabetic neuropathy should be evaluated by nerve conduction study.
You need to get examined by a neurologist and evaluated for dementia.
Brain MRI with other sequences(contrast, MRS, MRA) may be done.
CSF examination can be planned if an infection is suspected.
EEG can also be done after MRI brain.
You should continue medications for RLS, diabetes and vitamin D deficiency.
Any history of head injury, seizures, skin rashes, joint disorder any chronic illness, family history?
Provide more details.
Do get back to me for further queries.
