Question: I am suffering from migraine. Rarely I take naxdom. I am planning to visit leg ladakh next week where there is a possibility of high altitude sickness. So is it advisable for me to go to such hilly areas. Can dimox and naxdom be taken simultaneously.

How can I differentiate whether the headache is due to regular migraine or altitude sickness. Normally naxdom works only if it is consumed no sooner it shows the symptoms of headache.

Naxdom can be taken safely twice. Higher doses may be taken for 2-3 days, but not continuously.
Diamox can be taken upto 2000mg in a day, but side effects occurs at such higher dosage. Preferable doses are 250 mg twice to thrice a day.
