Suggest Treatment For Mild Heart Arrhythmia While On Corticosteroids

Dont worry you will be fine
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sir
After reading the medical details provided by you i understand your concern and i really appreciate how generously you are handling a mistake by a medical staff.
Now i want to tell you that steroids injections are a common prescription for rotator cuff muscle tightness and a dose of 80 mg which has been given to you accidentally instead of 40 mg dose is not very high to create complications.
Whatever symptoms you are experiencing will go away within 24-48 hrs. However i would like to advise you to get one EKG done to rule out any other abnormal rhythm going on as you are feeling unusual. If the EKG shows normal sinus rhythm with occasional ectopic beats then nothing to worry about. As you are already on METOPROLOL so it will take care of those irregular beats.
Hope to have been helpful. If you have any other doubts feel free to ask me back or else you can close the discussion and kindly rate the answer.
I wish you good health
