Suggest Treatment For Mild Megaloblastic Anemia
Findings may suggest mild megaloblastic anemia.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Your reports suggests mildly raised alkaline phosphatse,RBC distribution width and MCV values.
Hemoglobin level is normal.
Normal range for MCV is 80-96 fL/red cell in adult.
Normal value of RBC distribution width is between 39–46 fL.
Mildly increased MCV and RBC distribution width may indicate mild megaloblastic anemia, chronic liver disease etc.
Alkaline phosphatase is almost normal considering your age.
Besides clinical correlation,I suggest to take folic acid supplementation to my patients depending upon clinical findings.
Beside this you should take iron rich food like green leafy vegetables, dates etc.
Get well soon.
Hope I have answered your question.
Further queries are most welcome.
