1. She has a mild SN (Sensori-Neural) Hearing Loss in both ears. Some hearing loss is expected at her age, but this is usually in the higher frequencies. Such an age related hearing loss (presbyacusis) can lead to 'recruitment' phenomenon where normal sounds are heard abnormally loud causing discomfort and even pain.
2. Her SNHL seems to be in the lower frequencies. There is a possibility of endolymphatic hydrops / Tullio phenomenon. Check if she has dizziness or tinnitus (sounds in the ears).
3. At present Scanning has limited value as the hearing loss is symmetrical.
4. If her blood pressure is stable, keep her on a salt restricted diet and ask your specialist to try neuralgic painkillers, multi-vitamins and anti-hyprops medications.

My mother is little scared whether her ears will be back to normal or not ,and doctor suggested CT scan ,is that required can she come back to normal stage after taking the medicines please advice

Hi XXXXXXX thanks again for your response,I am not sure whether what my mom got is Hyperacusis or not ,I am attaching some more reports ,please have a look and with all reports in place can you hekp me to identify my Mom problem .
