Suggest Treatment For Mildly Prominent Endometrial Complex With Fluid Within Endometrial Canal
Question: My mother is 91 years old. She was recently told she had "mildly prominent endometrial complex measuring 6 mm, with a small amount of fluid within the endometrial canal. Tissue sampling is recommended to exclude neoplastic process. She has some recent bleeding which resulted in a trip to the ER and this is what was diagnosed. They are recommending a D & C. I think she may be too old to be placed under general anesthesia. What do you recommend?
