Suggest Treatment For Misaligned Teeth
Question: My teeth aren't aligned straight. I'm not sure if its a problem or not?

Hiii XXXX .First of all thank you for approaching Healthcaremagic regarding your query. I read through your query and I must say that malalignment of teeth is something which can be corrected easily. But the treatment depends on the type of malalignment, which teeth are malaligned etc.
I suggest you to take few good pics of the teeth from front then a pic of upper and lower arch with mouth open and upload them in the attachment section so that I can review them. If you have any x-rays please post them also. Then we can reach a better conclusion.

Hi, i've uploaded the images. I used to have braces and wear a plate but since last5 years i stopped wearing plate because i couldn't be bothered.

Hello. I appreciate your rapid follow up.
I went through the images and I must say that nothing to be worried.But it has happened due to your stoppage of using the plate.The plate is called retainer(which retains the alignment made in correct form). So it has to be worn for long time. Otherwise it might end up like this. But nothing to be worried just visit your orthodontist and get it done(many people get this relapse as they don't know the importance of that plate).
And again I am telling please wear the plate CONTINUOUSLY for long time (correction is easy but to retain it in correct alignment is most difficult so it has to be worn for long). Hiiii...Congrats for your quick follow up.I must say that if you dont wear the plate there are chances where the condition may increase like it may increase the malalignment.Sometimes it may continue to be same.If you dont want to put plate you may go for fixed retainer which will be cemented at back of the lower front teeth which may not be visible outside and dont have to be removed.But before getting that you must do fixed orthodontics.And if you dont want to go and get it done it may stay like this.Everything depends on your choice.Thats what I meant by not to worry.Hope I have cleared your doubt.If you have more queries please be free to approach us.If you dont have more queries please rate my answer and write review so that I can improve my answering in future.Stay happy and be coolHave a healthy day!!!!
