Suggest Treatment For Muscle Cramps In Groin Area And Legs

She may be having salt deficiency
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I can understand her condition because I see lots of such patients in my opd. I think that she might be having deficiency of calcium and salt in the body. It is common If she is diabetic or hypertensive. So I would recommend you following.
1.whenever she had such cramps she should be given glass of water with a spoon full of salt.
2. Increase her salt intake.
3.tablet calcium and vitamin D 3 will be good for her.
I hope this treatment will help her. Valium has no role in cramps. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks

In hindsight, my wife has tried to live a pretty salt-free life. By following your recommendation and drinking a glass of salt water, the cramps have disappeared for the first time in years and she is finally able to sleep without waking up in agony.
She is also taking calcium and vitamin D3, as well as increasing her daily salt intake.
Thank you again.
Wish you and your wife a healthy life
