Suggest Treatment For Muscle Spasms, Confusion And Falling Asleep At The Wheel

Question: I have a high antibody titre,, my endocrinologist is overbooked and I was placed on levothyroxine. I was well maintained on armour thyroid for years. I have gained repost weight have muscle spSms, have had memory confusion, and had an accident falling asleep at wheel since starting this medicine. But my tsh is high ,but I feel awful

Good day,
Noted your concern.
If you have high antibody levels, you will require to take thyroid hormone replacement for life long. Many people say that they feel great on Armour. However, it is an animal extract and not recommended.

The dose of Levothyroxine seems to be wrong. It can not be 5 mcg. May i know your height and weight? That is important to calculate the dose .
Do you have a copy of your antibody levels and latest TSH report?

The muscle spasms/cramps may be from hypothyroidism itself. However, i strongly recommened to do a vitamin D level, Electrolytes and Fasting blood sugar to look for additional causes of muscel spasms

I would appreciae if you could attach the reports
