Suggest Treatment For Muscle Spasms In Pectoral Muscles
Possibly seems to be due to Fluid and Electrolytes imbalances !!!
Detailed Answer:
I warmly welcome you here to HCM with the health issue you have. It is my pleasure to help you today in answering your query. I have thoroughly reviewed your case and can understand your health concerns.
Based on the symptoms and the way they resolve, it seems that it may be caused by fluid and electrolytes imbalance in the body which is very commonly caused either by nutritional deficiency from food or excessive loss from body. Loss can be caused by vomiting, excess sweating and diarrhea etc. All of them cause dehydration and may lead to muscles twitching and spasms anywhere in the body. Muscle damage may also lead to such symptoms.
Our muscles work normally in an environment of fluids and electrolytes like sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium and bicarbonates etc. If there is derangement in their Physiologically normal levels, it may cause defective muscular functioning.
Fatigued muscles also twitch like this and stretching may ease them. Massage is a sort of passive stretching on the muscles fibers. Avoid such physical activity that may cause your muscles to get fatigued. Keep a healthy and balanced diet full of nutrients like: fruits, vegetables, salads and wholegrain foods. Avoid processed red meat and keep a judicious supply of clean drinking water. Do stretch exercises on daily basis.
You need to consult your Primary care physician to evaluate and manage the reason. Sometimes there are minor fasciculations/twitches in the muscles where either the nerve is stimulated or damaged. Muscles work with combined function of muscle fibers, nerves and other tissues bathed in environment of fluids and electrolytes. Any one of the components if gone out of normal range, it may cause abnormal twitchings as you feel. Many a times these are benign and of no issues that may be a medical emergency.
