Suggest Treatment For Muscle Twitching In The Calves, Eyelid And Shoulder
I inquire due to Dr. google (haha) focuses on ALS. Got a little worried
I have recently been treated for anxiety with 20 mg of busiprone
I have arthritis which I take methotrexate and prednisone for
The twitches are not constant or bothersome just kind of comes and goes
More or less just wanting to know when muscle twitches are a concern on als. I don't see any weakness in lifting or other functions that I read online is an indicator.
I walk just fine up and down stairs lift things etc....
Take juicy fruits and see if it helps.

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that Google may provide you information but not knowledge. It is like getting the pieces of jigsaw puzzle but unless you know how to fit it, and if you end up fitting the wrong piece at the wrong place things start looking uglier than they are in reality.
I would not suspect ALS as the cause of the twitches. Rather, the twitches are likely to be due to imbalance of electrolytes like potassium and calcium. You need to take juicy fruits like citrus fruits, as well as bananas, since they contain plenty of potassium and should help. Also take calcium supplements for a few weeks. Hopefully things would be fine.
The other ailments do not seem contexual to this specific problem.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
The twitches are kind of stressing me out. They seem more pronounced than ever

Thanks for asking back. The earliest symptoms of ALS are muscle weakness and/or muscle atrophy. Other presenting symptoms include trouble swallowing or breathing, cramping, or stiffness of affected muscles; muscle weakness affecting an arm or a leg; and/or slurred and nasal speech. Over time, people experience increasing difficulty moving, swallowing (dysphagia), and speaking or forming words (dysarthria). Symptoms of upper motor neuron involvement include tight and stiff muscles (spasticity) and exaggerated reflexes (hyperreflexia) including an overactive gag reflex.

It's costant? As in twitches and trouble swallowing?
I ask due to when my first anxiety attack happened 6-7 weeks ago I felt like I couldn't eat like food would get stuck.
Each morning I would have bouts of heaving no actual stuff coming up. I chalked it up to nasal drainage. As I started an allergy pill and all that drainage stopped and so did the gagging each morning.
I notice the throat feeling tight when I get stressed! I have tight muscles especially when been at rest for awhile like at my desk. Once a get moving around. I have no issues. I have stiff joints due to the Arthritis. I am hoping his is just a manifestation of horrendous google searches combined with newly diagnosed anxiety I'm learning to deal and live with.
Do not worry unnecessarily
Detailed Answer:
No, it does not come and go. If you have it, you have it.
About the allergic stuff, steam inhalation should help.
The feeling in your throat is normal.
About the rest, I would insist you to visit a doctor and to get yourself evaluated.
