Suggest Treatment For Muscular Pain

Question: Hello Doctor,
Since last sunday after playing cricket and getting a jerk/push while running.I have pain in my neck whenever i bend my neck and the whole of my backportionof my head is hurting (pain) near the neck.I took Dolo 650 as well, it helps .Kindly advice. felling restless.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You are likely to be having muscular pain. Its treatment is rest to neck and analgesic for pain relief(you are already taking Dolo 650 and it helps). Vitamin B and C help in recovery. Muscle relaxant such as thiocholcoside is helpful. You can get x ray of cervical spine to exclude bony injury. I think you are also having anxiety, for it you can take anxiolytic such as alprazolam after prescription from your doctor as it is prescription medicine. You can discuss with your doctor about it.
