Suggest Treatment For Musular Pain On Back Of The Neck

Question: Please review my cervical and thoracic X-rays for a fracture. I believe that my pain is somewhere between C3-T3.
History:
I hurt my neck 2 weeks ago. These X-rays were taken 5 days after the injury. I was in the hot tub. The hot tub cover folds back like the attached photo, and the hot tub was half open. I jumped up and hit the back of my neck on the open edge of the cover (I was kind of bending forward). The edge of the cover hit the back of my neck in the center and slightly to the right (I'd guess between C3-T3). It hurt. I have iced the area often since then and then moved to heat. The pain went away for a week but then returned after I jogged 2 blocks to get something out of my car. The area was slightly swollen but now much less so. I never had visible bruising. I have full range of motion, and moving my neck does not affect the pain. I do not feel any tingling in my arms or shoulder.

Brief Answer:
There is no visible fracture in provided X-rays.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through your query and images in detail.
There is no visible fracture in cervical and thoracic X-rays.There is only straightening of cervical spine,it may be due to muscular spasm.
You can take analgesics for 5-7 days.Muscle relaxants can also be taken for 4-5 days.Proton pump inhibitors should also be taken as these drugs may cause gastric irritation.
Get well soon.
Hope i have answered your query.
