Question: Hi Doctor,
My son is 5 years old.
Recently we got his eyes checked.He has week eyesight.Doctor adviced spectacles.No -0.75 & -0.5.
Do we need to give him any suppliment?How can it be controlled?Any excercise,medicine etc?

This is myopia. This may keep on increasing with age till his growing age meaning about 18 years. This is genetically controlled so exercises and medicine have no role to play. Diet has a negative role, good diet will not prevent progression but lack of diet or prolonged illness will hasten the progress of power.
