Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion, Fever And Pain In The Abdomen

Question: Hello Doctor. I have chest/nasal congestion, slight fever and a dull pain to my abdomen that comes and goes for the past 4 days. To top it all off i have sores in my throat lining, visible by flashlight. I had unprotected oral 4 weeks ago.

You can get examined by your doctor.You may go for STDs panel tests(including HIV,Hbsag,Gonorrhea,syphilis) to allay fears of STDs .Smear from pharynx can be taken and also for culture .

Are respiratory infections viral or bacterial? Do i need to run antibiotics and should i seek medical care or let it run its course...

Respiratory Infections can be due to viral or bacterial infections.
If it does not subside by 5-7 days ,it is better to get examined by a doctor. Then Antibiotics may be needed.
Moreover it is better to get STDs tests done.
