Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Abdominal Cramps

Question: I started bleeding yesterday, i had horrible cramps and i felt Nausea also hot flashes. I was using the restroom when i wiped and this was on the toliet paper, at that time my cramping was gone and i felt so much better. I am on birth control but i take it diffrent because i work for an example 6pm one day and the next day 3pm. I dont know what this is but i would like to find out, i was in sever pain and then it all went away, i still have a little cramping here and there but not nearly as bad.

Could you please tell which pill are you taking and since how many months?

It is common to have cramping and pain on first day of period, especially in younger women.

So do take mefenemic acid 500 mg tablets which are available over the counter for the cramping.

If this repeats again in next cycle then an ultrasound to rule out the cause should be necessary.

Try taking pills just before bed or at similar times to decrease the chances of forgetting them.

Sprentic and for about 6 months now but i only take the blue pills not the white sugar pills so this way i will not have my period. What is this exactly?

Hi there,

This bleeding is due to excessive usage of continuing hormonal pill.

If you want to avoid your period by contraceptive pill intake, it is advisable that you take the blue pills for three months and then stop for a week and then restart.
This way you will get 4 periods in a year. This is necessary as continuous pill intake can cause break through bleeding like the one you are experiencing now.
