Suggest Treatment For Neck Arthritis In An Elderly Person

Neck pain
Detailed Answer:
good evening
thank you for writing on health care magic
Well I am not sure about the specialist in the XXXXXXX area. but considering your arthritis in the neck, I can guide you to further steps if you like
1. if you could attach an x Ray or MRI report it would be quite useful... I would like to see where the pain is arising from as treatment will differ... considering nerve compression, the best way out is epidural or facet joint injection at the site of compression but you will need a MRI for it.
2. considering your age it looks probably cervical spondylitis... Wen the joint s get weak. you ll probably need physiotherapy and neck strengthning exercises to support the joint well.
3/ avoid using pillows at night
do let me know your MRI report or x Ray film..
hope the information was useful
