Brief Answer:
Neuro cardiogenic Type III disorder
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Neuro cardiogenic Type III (vasodepressor) syncope (Westminster classification) on head-up tilt testing – heart rate rises or does not drop more than 10 per cent of its peak but blood pressure drops at least 50mmHg with presyncope and/or syncope on head tilting.
Drugs that have been found to be useful in the treatment of neuro cardiogenic type III disorder include sertraline (daxid ).
However there are no randomised controlled trials proving their efficacy.

She has also been diagnosed with possible meniere's disease.
The EEG report say background consists of 9-10 Hz
There are areas with fronto - central sharp waves.

Any precautions by way of diet or exercises you suggestt.
Should she avoid taking coffee. She generally takes one cup of coffee in the morning and one in the evening

Brief Answer:
Neuro cardiogenic Type III disorder
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
In normal awake adults lying quietly with the eyes closed, an 8- to 13-Hz alpha rhythm is seen posteriorly in the EEG;intermixed with a variable amount of generalized faster (beta) activity (>13 Hz).
Drug treatment for Neuro cardiogenic disorder is for long term.Optimal duration of medical treatment is still being worked out.
Moderate aerobic and isometric exercise enhances peripheral muscle strength, thereby facilitating the ability of the skeletal muscle pump to augment venous return to the heart.
Tilt training appears to be helpful in neurocardiogenic syncope
Tilt training:Progressively prolonged periods of enforced upright posture is advised.
Avoid circumstances or trigger factors that might bring on symptoms.
Avoid alcohol because it leads to dilation of the veins and arteries, and this can steal blood away from the central circulation
Reduce caffeine intake
