Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Arm And Eye
Need an examination
Detailed Answer:
Good evening. I am a neurologist and though your symptoms could certainly be related to some type of neurological condition I am going to assume to you are a relatively healthy and intact young lady....mainly because....you are! HA!....
Therefore, you need a good examination with a doctor who is going to take a good look at your thyroid gland and other metabolic parameters that can be off center with the symptoms you're relating.
Therefore, after having had a thorough examination of your neck for possibly thyroid issues I would send you for chemistry testing to include FREE T4, TSH and then, Vit. B12, Folic Acid, and Vitamin D, D2, and D3. Of course, I assume your primary doctor would've already ordered the basic recipe of blood tests that would include all the standard electrolytes, Hemoglobin A1C (for diabetes), kidney, liver, and complete blood cell counts. I would also throw in a urinalysis for good measure.
By the way, your doctor should also be capable of performing a good neurological exam of your cranial nerves to get an idea of the extent of numbness and paresthesias (pins and needles) in the face.
I hope I've satisfactorily responded to your statements. If so, may I ask your favor of a high star rating with some written feedback?
