You need to consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get the following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.

1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Serum PSA.
4) Endoscopic Examination of Bladder (Cystoscopy, by a qualified urologist only), please let me know if there's any further doubts regarding this.

I think our discussion is lingering on same statements .In view of you getting recurrence of symptoms in spite of medication needs to investigate and to be assessed properly These findings are important landmarks to decide the modality of treatment whether the symptoms can be managed with medicines or is there any need for surgery ...

I would again request you to go for Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis to find out what is the size of prostate and how much is the volume of post void residual urine (PVR).


I again emphasize to do following basic tests again and post me the reports and findings .
1) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis with specific reference of PVR.
2) Uroflowmetry
3) Serum PSA.
