Suggest Treatment For Oligospermia

Question: Hi
I am 32 year old male , recently we have visited gynaecologist as me and my wife are planning for a baby.
She asked me to go for SAT which I did few days back. The results came devastating as report didn't say any figures. It just says " very few dead and live spermatozoa seen ". Does it mean 0 sperm count. ??.
I am disheartened. Report says oligospermia. I went for doppler and it comes as bilateral varicoceles
Does it mean I can't be biological father. Does IUI Works in my case? Does IVF/ICSI WORK?
what could be the reason for the situation?
I have taken an appointment with Urologist for this weekend.
Do I have any hope in this situation to become father.

Brief Answer:
This is treatable...Do not get disheartened.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Certainly yes, hope is the key for which we all strive and work so hard, even in medical field.
First of all I would request you to calm down your nerves. This is just a small report and nothing else has yet been done.
The report categorically says that there is grade III varicocele on the left and II-III on the right with reflux.
Proper surgery and other additional means will definitely improve your counts and help to get e better sperm count and morphology.

''very few dead and live spermatozoa seen ''
does not mean azoospermia (0 count).

Let us see what your Urologist says.

Till then:
Loose clothes strictly.
Sit in normal or cold (bearable) water twice a day as sitz bath in a large tub.
Avoid hot and humid area strictly.
Avoid long standing.

Please do not get disheartened at all, all the advances in medical sciences will help you.

I hope this answers your query, please feel free to ask further relevant queries id you need to or if you feel that there is a gap-of-communication.
