Suggest Treatment For Osteoarthritis
Supportive care
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. With achilles tendon pain and no history of injury to the tendon, its likely a pain due to over use, overstretching , crossing your physical activity limits, wearing high heels etc. It could be a sequelae and connection to the arthritis situation you have. COntinue advil, apply some warm compresses over it, rest, keep limbs elevated and see if it helps. Avoid uphill walk or run. Stop exercising if you feel pain in calf of heel.
As far as osteoarthritis and stiffness with it is concerned. Age related articular degeneration can cause it too. I would like you to try some acetaminophen, NSAIDs, physiotherapy exercises to continue with the range of mobility. COrtisone injection, lubricant injection and re alignment surgeries are some next level options you can consider for. Talk to your rheumatologist and let them decide what is best for you.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
