Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cyst Causing Pelvic And Back Pain
Question: Is there a radiologist who can look at an ovarian cyst on my left ovary. Its 3cm. Causing pelvic and back pain, pelvic pressure, bladder pressure and diarrhoea. Some fluid was also found behind my uterus. 11ml. Very worried.
No radiologist report yet so feeling very worried. Have had bloating and some pain with sex. Worried about the solid parts inside the cyst.

You are suffering from complex ovarian cyst.Complexity of cyst is indicated by solid parts inside the cyst.
Besides clinical examination you need few more investigations like contrast CT scan of abdomen,tumour markers.Further investigations can be done if needed.
In majority of the cases,complex ovarian cysts only require follow up scan and it get resolve within 3- 6 months.
At present you may need antibiotics and analgesics after evaluation.Follow up USG is necessary to see its progression.
If symptoms persists or there is increase in size with time then surgical intervention can be done.
Mild fluid in POD(behind the uterus)may be due to many reasons like ovulation,pelvic inflammatory disease etc.It should be clinically correlated.
Diarrhea is not related to cyst.You should take antibiotics and fluids.
