Suggest Treatment For Overdose Of Amantadine

Question: I usually take 100mg of Amantadine BID and may have taken 2 capsules by mistake this pm, cause for concern? I have been taking the 200mg dose for a year and recently had my annual good check up with my neurologist.

Hello,

I do not think you will have any life threatening risk with Amantadine if you double the dose. You may have used to it for one year. May be some drowsiness and dizziness. You can get through if you take enough water to eliminate it out.
