Suggest Treatment For Pain And Cramps In Lower Abdominal Area During Pregnancy
Question: Hi I am 6 weeks pregnant. Had a miscarriage in XXXXXXX 2016. I am again pregnant and my last Lmp was 30 August 2016. Doctor suggested me to take pubergen 5000 twice a week and to continue susten tablet twice a week with folic acid tablet. I am having brownish bleeding daily. But yesterday had red bleeding with some dark red discharge. In my ultrasound which was done on 6 oct only Sac was no seen., no foetal pole or heartbeat was visible. Please tell me why doctor has suggested me pubergen 5000 mg. Is my treatment going right?? I also having pain and cramps in lower abdomen.she suggested me complete bed rest. I am very much scared plz guide.

1.First of all do not panic.
2. Sorry to hear about your previous miscarriage.
3. As per your history, you are suggested to take injection of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin- Pubergen- (HCG), this is a hormone secreted by the placenta to help and support the pregnancy.
Also, SUSTEN tablet is a natural micronised progesterone- hormone produced by the placenta to support pregnancy.
Both the medicines are prescribed in view to support pregnancy. Also,with a history of previous miscarriage.
4. I will suggest that get USG done to check for the viability of pregnancy at 7weeks , means on 18th of October.
Once you get viable growing pregnancy at 7 weeks , you can very well continue the treatment till 12 to 14 weeks of pregnancy.
