Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discomfort From External Hemorrhoid
Question: Thank you for following up. The external hemorrhoid does not seem to be getting better but also not worse. I am not constipated and have regular normal bowel movements. I think it is thrombosed and I wonder if I have to have them surgically removed. I can send a recent picture.

Dear Sir
Thrombosed external pile is usually associated with severe pain and discomfort.
Thrombosed external piles are usually hard to feel.
It would be very helpful if you could provide me recent photograph and also following additional information
1. Do you have pain, if yes then how severe it is
2. Is the pile hard to squeeze
3. Is there any pain on squeezing it?
Awaiting your response

I do not have pain. I have not squeezed the pile but I seem to be able to push it back into the rectum temporarily. It seems semi-hard. It does not bother me during the day.
Brief Answer:
The pile is not thrombosed
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir
Thanks for the picture. The pile does not appear to be thrombosed.
As its not painful, its easily replaceable inside the anus then its unlikely to be thrombosed pile. If it is not bothering you, it can be left alone. High fibre diet and plenty of oral fluids will take care of it.

I did squeeze it and it appears semi-hard like a cyst but I can push it back in the anus. It does not hurt when I squeeze it. I will wait to see what happens. Thank you.
