Suggest Treatment For Pain And Inflammation In The Clitoral Area

Question: My 5 year old complains that her girl parts hurt especially when riding in the car or sitting at the table. We have been into dr/pediatrician 3 times now, urine tests done, no temp, no discharge, no odor. We have tried diaper rash products, hydrocortisone cream, monostat yeast infection cream, bathing nightly no bubbles without relief. Done everything dr has told us. She just cries and says it is painful and feels funny. Appears to be in clitoral area, it is not red at all. She also has molluscum bumps on inner thighs and buttock, which is going away.

Brief Answer:
Continue emollients

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Don't worry.
As you have already tested and treated her with antifungal and hydrocortisone, there is no need to worry.
The molluscum rash on her inner thigh could cause her pain.
Continue emollients like diaper rash cream.
Should settle soon.
Use antiseptic soap instead of baby soap to help in keeping the area clean.
Regards
