Suggest Treatment For Pain And Irritation On The Elbows

Question: The skin on both my elbows is a pink/red color and I feel mild pain/irritation when I lean on them or from clothing. The elbow itself is fine, just the skin is affected. This has been going on for about 2 months now. The skin does not appear to be psoriasis (I'm almost positive), it is not bright red, raised or scaly, nor is it itchy. Also the steroid cream did not get rid of it (used for 1 week). It is not a ring shape, so I don't know if it could be a fungal infection. What could be causing this?
Brief Answer:
Seems to be eczema, topical steroid and moisturising cream

Hi
Thanks for being at HealthcareMagic
I have gone through your complaints as well as reviewed the attached photographs.
It seems to eczema.
I would recommend you to apply a topical steroid like clobetasol propionate cream on the affected areas once daily along with frequent and liberal application of a moisturising cream containing white soft paraffin on the entire arms 2-3 times in a day for 2 weeks.
Steroidal preparations are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Besides this avoid soap on the affected areas, use lukewarm water for bathing instead of hot water and keep them moisturised.
