Suggest Treatment For Pain And Soreness In Lower Abdomen
Question: I HAVE PAIN AND SORENESS IN LEFT LOWER ABDOMEN. iT HURT WORSE BEFORE BOWEL MOVEMENT AND RIGHT AFTER. i ALSO FEEL LIKE i AM GOING TO VOMIT. sOMETINE i DO AND IT IS VIOLENT .
iN XXXXXXX i HAD PANCREASE CANCER, i HAD THE TAIL OF IT REMOVED. COULD THIS BE ANY CHANCE OF MY PANCREST GIVING ME PROBLEM.

Can you please mention when was your last abdominal CT after the surgery? Have you had Ca 19-9 marker level checked recently? Can you please specify what kind of tumor it was (pathologist report would be great).
Lower left abdomen is where diverticulitis can give pain and the other symptom. If so, you may also notice some blood in stool or loose stool.
Unfortunately there is also a chance its cancer related. Pancreas cancer is hard to treat. Such symptoms can be due to adhesions or recurrence. The recurrence is more possible if you have also weight loss, bloated or distended abdomen.
