Brief Answer:
Can heal with rest and air cast.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The small swelling after a twisted foot can be due to a small hairline fracture or a ligament sprain. It is best to get an X-ray done to rule out any displaced bones. If the bones are intact or there is just a non displaced hair line fracture then it can heal well with rest and an air cast for 3 weeks. Do keep the leg elevated on two pillows while resting to reduce the swelling.
I hope this answers your query.
