Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Chronic Prostatitis

Question: Hi there,
I have diagnosed with chronic prostatits and I have used several things antibiotic ,massage ,alpha blockers ,medication for pain relief and injections .all of these medication have failed and I am still living in the pain what option could I have to red of from this pain !

Thanks for your query,You have not mentioned your age in your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have Chronic Prostatitis and have tried multiple antibiotics and other modality of treatment but there is no cure as far as symptoms are concerned .

It is very cumbersome disease to get cured .In Chronic prostatitis there is thrombosis of the terminal arteries so antibiotics can not reach in depth of infection making it incurable.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) What is your age ?
2) Are you sexually active?

In refractory cases of Chronic Prostatitis one can get relief from pain by doing Trans Urethral Resection Of Prostate (TURP).

You can discuss this with your Urologist keeping in mind about the retrograde ejaculation which is known side effect of this procedure.

By the way note that this is not going to have any negative effect on your sexual potency except retrograde ejaculation which I think should be acceptable rather than to have miserable painful life

Hi doctor ,
My age is 29 and I am single and I have good erection but have pain in the abdominal area and stomach and burning after ejculation and they said to me your Prostate has a good size but this symptoms because the infection or inflammation ,they are not sure and they said the nerve also inflamed so if I done this procedure may return my symptomes again

Since you are just 29 years old and unmarried you can not go for RURP which I have suggested in my reply earlier.

Please get your semen culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which thy are sensitive too.

Take appropriate antibiotic as per culture report and get Prostatic massage done every day for 3 months .I think it should give satisfactory results .

I done all tests including PCR amplification but it comes all negative and transfer me to chronic pain doctors ,they give me medications but I am still in the pain ,for this surgery if I done it,my symptomes Could e return or not !

Thanks for follow up.
In TURP surgery prostate is resected along with bladder neck that leads to retrograde ejaculation .Since you are unmarried you will not ejaculate outside making you infertile and will not be able to impregnate your wife normally.
So only option left for you is to take appropriate antibiotics and pain killers .
