Suggest Treatment For Pain From Ripped Foreskin Of Penis
Question: Hv cuts on my foreskin and pulling it back during bath hurts. When skin pulled up there is a reddish mark inside which hv seen it for sometime now. However this cuts and tight closure on the forehead happened recently as hv contracted a viral infection with pain to all my joints. No dengue or chicken kunya all negative. My sugar levels are also very high and hv recently started on insulin. Thou sugar coming under control the viral still there even after a bout of antibiotics. Also my foreskin cuts still there even after applying Vaseline. What else should I do?

Thanks for the query.
Your symptoms suggest that you seem to have developed balanoposthitis which is the inflammation of outer skin as well glans of penis. High uncontrolled blood sugar levels result in thriving of fungus and bacteria under the skin which leads to cuts on foreskin.
Treatment involves...
Meticulous control of your blood sugar levels.
Vaseline won't help.
Using local anti fungal creams like CLOTRIMAZOLE and antibiotic cream like NEOSPORIN would help.
You should also take a course of antibiotic under the supervision of your treating doctor.
With proper treatment you shall be allright soon.
In people with repeated episodes of foreskin cuts ( generally happens with diabetics ),ideal treatment is circumcision.
