Suggest Treatment For Pain In Abdomen And Sore Ribcage
It doesn't seem to be serious.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for posting your query at HealthcareMagic.
I read carefully your query and understand your concerns.
Considering all the information provided ,I don't think your symptoms are due to a serious condition.
It is highly likely that your symptoms are related with your recent physical activity and you might have strained your abdominal and chest muscles.
I am going to explain why I think this way:
-You have a mild to moderate level of pain that it is not constant (it comes and goes).
-The pain has not changed in intensity and location during the period of several weeks.
-The pain improved after taking Naproxen.
-The pain appeared again after a significant physical activity .
-You don't have any other symptom of serious conditions (severe pain ,nausea, vomiting ,diarrhea or constipation ,weight loss ,skin lesions etc).
If your symptoms were due to a serious condition they would have been constant and progressive, you would have additional symptoms ,the pain wouldn't have improved after taking Naproxen.
For 4-5 weeks a serious condition would have presented all her signs and symptoms.
I suggest to get plenty of rest and don't do physical effort for some time.
- Take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers, like ibuprofen or Naproxen for some days to see if the pain improve.
If the pain get worse or you have other symptoms ,then you should consult a physician and get done some test including abdominal ultrasound.
Hope it was of help.
Let me know if you have other questions or doubts to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
Kind Regards!
