1)Does this pain radiate from hip to leg?Is it radiating in nature?
To be honest it is hard to tell. Right now I can feel it in my hip. A few minutes ago it was my entire leg. The pain comes and goes.
2)Does it increase on walking and improve on rest?If yes, after how many minutes of rest does it improve?
Not really, I was not in any pain until I sit down. My wife told me it is from sitting at the computer too long. I would think both legs would hurt.
3)Does it increase on coughing or straining?
No
4)Any history of Diabetes or any other illness except MS or NMO as you mentioned?
Me, no Diabetes. My mother and older brother. My brother very mild. Controlling it with diet.
5)Does this pain increase on straight leg raising?
No
6)Any tenderness in muscles of hip or thigh?
No
7)Does the pain increase on movements at hip joint?
Does not seem to
As I sit here it is like a wave. Comes and goes and different parts of my leg.
Neurological examination
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
Your clinical history,as if now, does not appear to be leading to your symptoms to a specific diagnosis.
Main differentials are- radiculopathy(which is commonly associated with spine disease) and bony/joint pathology.
However, clinical points on basis of history are not indicative enough, of either of them.
So,I suggest that you should undergo a physical examination by a neurologist. If the examining neurologist thinks, that this pain is rheumatological,he can refer then, you to the same.
If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.

Dr.Ajay Panwar,
MD,DM(Neurology)
