Brief Answer:
get a usg pelvis done...explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM,
Mild pain in the lower abdomen and especially in both the flanks and not in the centre is normal and in first pregnancy seen due to progesterone induced lengthening of uterosacral ligaments secondary to increasing size of uterus.
If the pain is not accompanied by any bleeding and if the pain is not continuous , then one may not worry, but as you said there is constant pain in the lower abdomen , hence you must get an ultrasound pelvis done soon to check for foetal well being and to see if the growth is adequate for th gestation and there are no incidences of any sunchorionic or retroplacental hemorrhages which can often cause such continuous pains.
get an ultrasound pelvis done please.

Thank you for answering. Yes the pain is constant and is the middle just abouve groin area. I had a scan at 10 weeks and things were fine. Could this be a sign of missed miscarriage?

Detailed Answer:
well , one cannot be certain unless a fresh ultrasound report is seen. last us was 2 weeks back but this constant pain is recent onset , so that doesn't hold much value at all. you need to get a fresh one before any conclusion can be derived at.
