Suggest Treatment For Pain In Lower Back Radiating To Groin Area
Question: My husband is taking 190mg of methadone daily and 10mg of cyclobenzaprine twice a day to relieve severe pain from lower back which also radiates through his groin and down both legs. He has a severe burning sensation in both legs worse on the left. Is this normal and if so what can we do to help relieve symptoms. Thank You

I have noted your husband's symptoms and current treatments. It is unfortunate that he has to suffer a lot of pain despite treatment.
If he has not used neuropathic pain medications, he should try them. These include pregabalin, gabapentin and duloxetine capsules.
Physiotherapy with IFT/ultrasound and traction could also help.
