36 no urin issues but pressure gas ive been having bowel issues, hard time passing stool. feels like my body wont let go of it. when i do ho it feels incomplete.
Brief Answer:
As detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your feedback.
The most probable causes of such symptoms are as follows:
Colitis of some sort, like amoebiasis, non-specific.
Constipation due to delayed passage leading to more absorption of fluids from stool in colon.
Some ulcers or mass or stricture.
IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
you may take a stool softener and/or laxative to suit your requirement and see the results.
If these do not help then it is better to go for further clinical evaluation, examination and investigations.
Simple tests of stool can show the disease and a course of suitable prescription based medications can help you get a cure.
Relevant tests of blood like for diabetes, thyroid functions and as advised on clinical evaluation.
If still no results then a proper colonoscopy. biopsy and CT scan of abdomen may be needed to ascertain the cause.
If all the investigations are normal then this may be IBS and a control of stress and anxiety can help you a lot.
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and have proper curative management.
Also to remember is to chart out the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop these altogether.
Take care.
Please give feedback.
With Regards.

thank you I have had colonoscopy and ultrasound, also additional bloodwork everything comes up OK I also think it is slow moving stool. Is it moving slow because of hydration? What makes my body hold onto it?
Brief Answer:
Most probably IBS
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
With the normal colonoscopy and ultrasound with blood work indicate that you most probably have an IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
If the stool tests are also normal you may please consult your Doctor to discuss about IBS, have prescription based medications to ease your problems.
A good control over anxiety and stress will help you further.
Hydration is usually not a problem as excess water that one takes is carried away by small intestines and passes out as urine.
It need to take fiber containing medications that can hold water and keep stool soft.
The functional/psychological part holds onto it.
I hope this answer helps you further.
