Question: My son says his penis hurts in the middle and it stings when he pees. He is 10 yrs old and it just started after he got out of the bathtub tonight.

I have gone through your query. Your son's problem can be due to lower urinary tract infection or irritation from concentration of urine due to dehydration. Better to have a urine routine examination to rule out infection.

Take more water. Taking barley water or cranberry juice is helpful. Potassium citrate syrup in water also give relief. In case of infection antibiotic therapy will be required.
