Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Armpit

Question: Having sharp pain in left arm pit. No swelling or redness. No chest pain. Pain very intermittent. No injury associated with pain. In the past I've cortisone injections for shoulder pain; haven't had any for several years. Possible causes?
