Brief Answer:
Using a back brace will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
In case of spine tuberculosis, it takes many months for the pus to dry up and the bone to recover its some of the strength. Putting extra stress on a spine weakened by tuberculosis will cause pain.
The pain starting after lunch can be due to undue stress on the spine due to prolonged sitting. It is best to use a Taylor's brace on her back during the day when she sits or moves around.
I hope this answers your query.

Brief Answer:
Use a brace for back support.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The pain is expected but can be avoided with good back support. It is worrisome if the pain is acute and unbearable.
The pain will reduce if she starts using a brace for support.
It is better to remain in bed but she can sit while taking food with a good support to the back.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
These are to monitor the disease progress.

Detailed Answer:
All these tests will detect if the infection in the bones is still persistent or not. Is the degeneration of bone still continuing or not. It will help in assessing the progress of the treatment given to her. It is not worrisome. Do get the tests done as advised.

Hi sir,

I heard one more shocking info regarding my mum health . the doctors have taken MRI yesterday and they said that pus accumulation is there still after 2 months treatment of spine TB so they are doubting back again whether it may be malignancy or drug resistant TB

If there are chances for drug resistant TB is it curable sir Please guide me on this

Thanks for your reply sir when you say the drugs are costly how much in a random we need to spend for the drugs per month will it be in lakhs something like 1 lakh per month that is affordable for us

Note my mum is in XXXXXXX taking treatment and I am only working in USA

Brief Answer:
Can be treated.

Detailed Answer:
If the pus is still present then it can be a multi drug resistant TB. IN that case more antibiotics will be needed according to the culture sensitivity o the pus to control the infection. It can be cured but the treatment will be longer and costlier and more of medicines will be needed.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Not too costly.

Detailed Answer:
The expenses depend on the drug resistance. The expenditure on medicines per month should not exceed 40-50K INR. But the treatment will be costlier than what she is getting now.
Regards.
