Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Big Toe

Question: I have shooting and sometimes throbbing pain in my right foot at side of the ball of the foot. I believe the pain originated in the big toe. Also, my three right toes periodically are numb. I have a torn meniscus in that right knee.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Pain in the great toe usually is seen in Gout. This pain can be referred to the right half of the food. Sometimes can even give pain in knee due to the limp it causes. Rheumatoid arthritis can also cause pain in the small joints to start with.
I recommend you to get tests like Serum Uric acid and RA factor to rule out both GOUT and Rheumatoid arthritis.
Meanwhile you can use painkillers like Diclofenac to get some relief.
Please get back to be with the test results.
