Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Body While Having Shingles

Question: I am 84 and I have shingles since the 1st week of september and I am in alot of pain in my skin and in my inside IPlease help me to find releive of my pain

I have gone carefully through your concern. Shingles can indeed be painful. You can use some NSAID like Aleve (Naproxen) 500mg twice or thrice a day for pain relief. Be sure to take it in full stomach to prevent development of gastritis.

I have burning pain soreness and Itching on my skin. My rash went away 3 weeks ago but the pain did not and some of the rash came back. I would like to know if there is anything I can do or if there are any creams or lotions I can use. Thank you.
